Unique table lamp with Wabi Sabi charm, combining glazed porcelain and the delicacy of a painted silk shade. The vintage 1970s base is made of fine porcelain covered in a deep midnight blue glossy glaze. It is enhanced by a delicate Kintsugi technique, where lacquer and gold powder highlight the history of the ceramic, giving it an added soul and a unique aesthetic. The vintage cylindrical silk shade is delicately hand-painted with a design of irises and a stylised bird. Its shades of old rose, sage green, and cream diffuse a particularly soft light. The electrification has been completely redone. Overall in very good condition. The base is stable and solid, enhanced by its Kintsugi art restoration work.
