Louis XV slant-top desk in marquetry from the 18th century.

Sloped desk known as a "dos d'âne" in walnut, amaranth, and plum wood marquetry. It rests on four curved legs, with the two front ones fitted with gilded bronze sabots. It opens at the front with two drawers and a drop-down flap that reveals a theatre. The theatre consists of four drawers as well as a sliding tray providing access to the locking mechanism of the lower drawers. Two pull-outs allow the flap to rest. The leather has been replaced.
