Chimera floor lamp by Vico Magistretti for Artemide Italy 1980s. Chimera is a floor lamp designed by Vico Magistretti for Artemide in 1969. The elegant floor lamp is made of opal methacrylate with a characteristic curved shape. The base is made of metal sheet, ensuring the lamp's stability. Chimera is one of the first lamps that Artemide produced using almost entirely synthetic material, which has proven over time to offer excellent lighting properties. The diffuser emits a soft and shielded light that prevents glare. All original brand markings are present on the lamp. This floor lamp is in very good original condition with some minor signs of use, and the lights work. The lamp cord is equipped with a European AV plug.
