Moonlight floor lamp – Ettore Sottsass for Arredoluce (model 14104, 1971) An exceptional design by master designer Ettore Sottsass, one of the most influential designers of the 20th century. This ‘Moonlight’ floor lamp was created in 1971 for Italian manufacturer Arredoluce and is more than lighting—it’s a rare functional work of art. The lamp features a square black metal base and a white lacquered metal housing, constructed from four triangular columns. Two columns are movable: open them up for additional light output, perfect for illuminating the space behind the lamp. When closed, the lamp provides atmospheric, diffused lighting through the vertical slits on the sides.
