Set of five door cleanliness plates from the Napoleonic III era, late 19th century. Made of painted thin sheet metal, with a black background highlighted by a golden border, each is adorned with a delicately hand-painted floral design. The models are different but harmoniously matched. Originally intended to protect the wood around locks, these plates have now become charming decorative elements. They can be installed as a wall composition, framed, or simply displayed. In good antique condition with signs of use consistent with age, slight oxidations at the edges.
