Ancient asian lacquered panel with mother-of-pearl inlay

Superb antique vertical decorative panel made of dark brown/black lacquered wood, adorned with mother-of-pearl inlay work. Traditional Asian decor depicting an elegant flowering branch and two butterflies in flight. Stunning iridescent reflections of the mother-of-pearl depending on the light orientation. Dimensions: 19 X 48 cm. Overall good condition with a beautiful patina of time, presence of lacquer cracks due to the age of the wood or exposure to high heat, which confirms its authenticity (see photos).
