Rare - Superb pair of 19th century solid silver fish serving cutlery. Comprising an openwork shovel and fork, the set is richly chiseled on the handle, as well as on the shovel and fork, a very meticulous piece of goldsmithing. The handles bear the hallmark of Mercury's head on the left in a diamond shape (950 silver). Excellent condition in their original "RENE CAEN jewelry and watchmaking" case. Total weight of the two cutlery sets: 303 grams of 950 silver (or 287 grams of pure silver) and 708 grams in their original case, in its original condition. Price may be negotiated with moderation.
