Monobloc gilded bronze wall light, grotesque satyr, two lights.

Superb wall light with two arms, made of monobloc gilded bronze. The arms are cast in one piece with the body. It depicts a bearded satyr. The vocabulary is clearly late Louis XIV / Regency: grotesque mask, acanthus leaves, gadroons, leafed arms, symmetrical and quite architectural composition. Likely 18th century, in the Louis XIV / Regency style (for the base), previously electrified. Needs to be electrified to current standards or can be used as a wall candlestick. Generally in good condition (see photos).
