Pendant lamp, Tivoli model, designed in 1981 by Sidse Werner for Holmegaard Glassworks. Crafted from white opaline glass with a light grey overlay, this is a very beautiful and decorative lamp. It has become extremely rare to find one like this without damage, cracks or other flaws. Shows only natural wear and tear and slight signs of use. Sidse Werner (1931–1989) Architect and industrial designer Sidse Werner was renowned for her designs of furniture, textiles, lamps and glassware. She worked for Holmegaard Glassworks for a number of years and drew inspiration from nature for the many glass designs she created. 1971–79 Fyens Glasværk, freelance. 1979–89 Holmegaard Glassworks. This lamp was designed by her in 1981 and was only in production for a few years. 21 cm high and 43 cm in diameter. A bulb is included with the purchase (fits a standard E26/E27 socket) Packed securely and sent with insurance.
