Service plate Sarreguemines Obernai - Henri Loux earthenware Alsace

This fine earthenware dish in very good condition showcases the Alsatian villa of Obernai, created in the early 20th century by the Alsatian illustrator Henri Loux. The centre of the dish reveals a superb traditional and colourful scene of rural or village life in Alsace, typical of the artist's style. The scalloped edge is delicately adorned with ribbons and bucolic floral motifs.
