Sarreguemines set of 6 deep plates Obernai Loux decoration – Alsace

This lovely set of 6 deep plates comes from the Sarreguemines factory. They belong to the famous Alsatian service "Obernai" created by the illustrator Henri Loux in the early 20th century. The screen-printed decoration is different on each plate and depicts horsemen and characters in Alsatian countryside landscapes and village views. This set includes snowy scenes. The border is adorned with three flowers. In generally good condition, they bear the mark "Obernai Faïenceries Sarreguemines FRANCE". I note signs of use, hairline cracks (on 2 plates), and chips on the borders (on 3 plates). They measure 25 cm.
