Art Deco style peach & clear bevelled mirror with brass frame, 1980s

Striking vintage Art Deco style wall mirror, dating from around the 1980s, featuring an architectural stepped design reminiscent of the glamorous interiors of the 1920s and 1930s. The large central mirror is surrounded by an elaborate geometric border composed of individually cut bevelled mirror panels, alternating between clear and beautiful soft peach / rose-tinted mirrored glass. The stepped crown is particularly decorative, creating a strong architectural silhouette with alternating vertical mirrored panels rising towards the centre. Slim brass-toned metal divisions frame each individual section and emphasize the geometric composition. The combination of warm peach mirror, clear bevelled glass and brass gives the piece a sophisticated Art Deco / Hollywood Regency character without appearing overly ornate. At 117 cm high, it has excellent proportions for use above a console, fireplace, sideboard or vanity, while also working beautifully as a decorative statement mirror in an entrance hall, bedroom or dressing room. Good vintage condition with minor age-related wear consistent with its age. Light oxidation and patination may be present on the metal framework, together with small signs of age to some mirrored sections. These do not detract from the overall appearance and contribute to its authentic vintage character.
