Piedmontese drop-leaf desk in walnut with floral inlays and maple scrolls, and frames in olive wood. Interior furniture consisting of a pair of side drawers and an open central compartment concealing various secrets. Drawer beneath the top, curved legs, goat's feet with reinforcements on the two on the left, interiors in poplar. Lock entries in chiselled and gilded bronze. Italy, mid-18th century.
