Art Nouveau plateau signed Émile Gallé, twentieth century

Emblematic signature of art nouveau alongside majorelle, the productions of émile gallé (1846 - 1904) are as sought after in glass, ceramics as inlaid wood. After having proven himself in glassware and ceramics, gallé opened in 1884 a cabinetmaking workshop that produced both furniture and decorative objects, such as this plateau. The signature of the plateau was used by the gallé workshops between 1928 and 1936. Perfect condition.
