Authentic 19th century desk from the Senate

Mid-19th-century desk. It is made of molded and carved mahogany, with two side drawers, each equipped with a key. This desk comes from the Senate in Paris, which sold it to the current owner. It bears the hallmarks of the Senate furniture (stamp and label) as well as an amusing "President of the Senate" stamp in one of the drawers (see photo). The top is covered with gilded synthetic leather with small irons. There are stains that testify to its use (see photo). This desk has been a testament to France's parliamentary history for many years. Dimensions: Width 158cm; Depth 78cm; Height 73cm.
