Office screw chair by Thonet 1880

Hard to make more elegant and harmonious. Very nice original condition without any play in the screws. This copy is dated from 1875 to 1885, among other things by its stamp. (we see in the photo taken under the cannage that "thonet" is hit twice, fatigue, machine badly adjusted?) it is more majestic than large. A magnificent extra fine cannage in the backrest obviously redone during the lived, a seat redone recently in cane of 2.6 X 2.8, adapted therefore to its respectable surface. Original patina rosewood (a tuna specialty since 1860) revived with organic shellac. It is usually photographed at a height of 48cm, in its standard service position.
