Superb glazed yellow sandstone, south west of France. Pyrenees 19th century. Very old yellow glazed terracotta sandstone with a magnificent patina of time. Old object from our French countryside. Gresal was used for food preparation (making jams, preserves, pâtés, sausage meat, etc.), to collect blood when the pig was killed. Slight traces of time are visible.
