Massive pine four-legged stool by Charlotte Perriand, France, 1970s. Typically made with three legs, this unique version was custom-made for a client. The thick circular seat rests on slightly flared cylindrical legs, giving the piece great stability. The warm honey-toned patina highlights the natural grain of the wood, reflecting the honest and functional aesthetic characteristic of 1970s alpine and modernist interiors.
