19th century inlaid writing table

Violin-shaped writing table, decorated with superb marquetry and bronzes. 19th century furniture, louis XV style. Dimensions (height/width/depth): 74 X 101 X 64cm shape: straight with moving sides, mounted on 4 arched legs. Violin tray. Openings: a large drawer on the front. Ornamentation: ingot mold framing the top and shell corners. Corner scraps with vegetal rocaille motif. Hooves of the feet pointed to stretched foliage. Marquetry: superb play of colors between light and dark wood species. Veneer wood and marquetry of flowering branches, crowns and plant scrolls on the sides and the top.
