Lady's desk Louis XV style red morocco and rosewood

Superb desk with red morocco top, chiseled gilt bronze ornamentations. 19th century furniture, louis XV style. Dimensions (height/width/depth): 76 X 128 X 69 cm shape: flat desk with slightly curved top mounted on 4 ornamented curved legs. Openings: 3 opening drawers in the belt. Two zippers with red leather on the sides of the tray (50 X 52 cm). Ornamentation: corner falls, edges of the feet, gilded shoes, fixed drawer handles and keyhole are in chiseled gilded bronze with a plant motif. Tray: tray covered in red morocco, framed with a classic gilded plant motif with small irons (used condition - see photos). Marquetry: rosewood veneer. Nice play of contrast between tawny wood species. Framing of the cheeks and drawers in marquetry fillets. (used condition - see photos).
