Ceramic vase from the mid-20th century by Jacques Pouchain / Atelier Dieulefit. Classic cylindrical vase in the style of Pouchain's cloudy glaze. Pouchain uses a contemporary pattern on the body of the vase and a droplet effect surrounding the base. Stylish and elegant and extremely precious. In excellent condition. Manufacturer's mark: Atelier Dieulefit. About the artist: Jacques Pouchain (1925-2015) left Paris and abandoned his architectural training in the 1950s for the south of France to dedicate himself to art and his pottery workshop in Dieulefit. He produced very personal works and more commercial pieces, revealing a modern approach to pottery. Pouchain's ceramics have an international audience and have been sold in major European auction houses.
