Engraving le Toco number 6 Jacques Barraband

Engraving framed by a toco, " le toco n°6 ". Inscription also at the bottom of the work "barraband pt" and "imprimerie de rousset". The bird is depicted perched on a tree branch. The engraving is framed in a glass frame and black color. The frame is of the "marie-louise" type of red color. Jacques barraband (1768-1809) was a french painter, draftsman and illustrator, specializing in zoology. Note: the engraving and the frame are in a very good condition, some really very light traces of moisture, small yellow dots barely visible on the white paper (see photo). Frame dimensions: Height: 35.5cm. Width: 29cm.
