Magnificent decorative plate with a black background depicting Lyon at night: a panoramic view of the Saône with its bridges, the Saint-Jean Cathedral, and the Basilica of Fourvière in the background. Finely detailed decoration, enhanced with gold, featuring colourful reflections in the water (red, white, green, blue). Rectangular shape with rounded corners, characteristic of Longwy decorative series. Original hanging system (cord) for wall display. Marked on the reverse: "Lyon at Night" - No. 36321 - Longwy. Hand-decorated. The mention of grand fire guarantees high-temperature firing and superior quality and stability of the enamels. Period 1950-1970. Very good condition, bright colours, original cord present. Ideal piece for wall decoration, a gift for a lover of Lyon, or a collection of views of French cities in faience.
