Pyrite stoneware flower spike vase circa 1950/60, zoomorphic, decorated with a rooster-type bird. Pyrite stoneware is a high-fire technique that produces this speckled metallic enamel effect. Typical of French stoneware from Morvan and Puisaye. Hand-shaped and hand-carved, the flower spike has a rounded base, and a sculpted bird sits in its center. In the style of Dieulefit and Jacques Pouchain. Monogrammed piece, on the heel in the mass, I have not identified the artist. Very good condition. Dimensions: diameter 11 cm X 17 cm high.
