Farm stool in ash – 1930s

Authentic 1930s farmhouse stool, made from solid ash. Its clean design, rectangular seat with softened corners, and four slightly tapered legs illustrate utility furniture designed to stand the test of time. The opening in the centre of the seat allows for easy handling, a characteristic detail of workshop and home stools from this era. Over the decades, the ash has developed a beautiful honey-blonde patina that highlights its delicate grain.
