Beautiful 19th oil portrait, in its juice, representing a general (traits resembling Hubert Lyautey not?), in his officer's suit. In its juice, with signs of wear and cracks of the canvas (state faithful to the photos). To restore, or to leave in its juice for an eclectic decoration, cabinet of curiosity ... The canvas is signed at the top, on the left (one guesses " in homage ... to my colonel..) Lots of charm!!!
