Description
Rare lounge armchairs AP71 designed by Hans J. Wegner and produced by AP Stolen, Denmark, 1960s. The armchairs with a light oak adjustable frame and pillow (3 positions) are based on nautical lounge chairs. The frame has beautifully detailed hinge connections and tensioned rope as a seat/suspension. The foldable armchairs have off-white cotton upholstery and pillows. The rope of the seat has been re-tensioned or completely renewed. The woodwork is in very good condition, as are the stretched rope seats (3 completely renewed). The cotton fabric is fair with light soiling from use over time. The filling is ok. You can have the armchairs (4 pieces) reupholstered to your own taste (see photos). We use a beautiful Kvadrat fabric Tonus (Meadow) and a new filling of cold foam. Please feel free to contact us to discuss the possibilities.
