Openwork woven ceramic trivet

Charming trivet that will add pep and character to your table with its pretty golden straw yellow color and its ceramic weave. Sometimes stamped vallauris, these trivets often have just “sculpted” braiding on the top, but this is really made up of braided strips, see on the underside, which creates pretty details. It does not have any stamp, it must be an artisanal work from the 60s or 70s. It is in good general condition but has a small chip on a braided “sausage” around the edge and some very light marks of use on this same braiding (darker but very barely visible lines left by the pans I imagine). It measures 20 cm by 20 cm with a thickness of 3 cm.
