Coffee table design martinelli luce "metafora", lella & massimo vignelli

The metafora table created in 1979 for martinelli luce was first presented at the "salone del mobile" in the 1970s. The choice of materials, shapes and aesthetics imagined to design it is up to lella and massimo vignelli. This design table therefore presents a multiform design cubic, cylindrical, spherical and pyramidal, in four types of marble and a transparent glass plate. All the elements represent in themselves several historical references. They are all indispensable for the table to hold but at the same time can be arranged in any way: the table remaining in any case authentic.
