Tabouret Luterma

Luterma-branded low wooden stool, dating back to the 1930s. A brand of an estonian company, a.m. Luther, based in tallinn, she specialized in the creation and manufacture of wooden furniture. From 1877 to 1940, it was a major player in its industry. She was one of the pioneers in the manufacture and use of "plywood" for furniture. In 1940, when estonia was occupied by the ussr, the firm a.m. Luther closed its doors and thus ended the adventure of a company that participated in one of the most creative movements of the interwar period. This stool sports a pretty patina with marks of usage and time.
