The PH 5 lamp is an icon of Danish design that has gained immense popularity worldwide. It was designed by the outstanding designer and architect Poul Henningsen in 1958 and is still manufactured by Louis Poulsen today. The lamp's shape was designed based on the principle of a reflective system, which directs the light not only downwards but also to the sides while illuminating the lamp itself.
