Large antique camphor wood chest - fully engraved - 100x60x48cm

Description: Rare large chest made of solid camphor wood, with engraved decoration on all surfaces (top, bottom + 4 sides): detailed Orientalist scenes — galloping horsemen, palm trees, domed palaces. A meticulous artisanal work, rarely this complete for this type of piece. Dimensions: 100 cm (width) X 60 cm (height) X 48 cm (depth) — significantly more imposing than the average of these chests. Original intact gilded brass fittings (ornate handles, clasp, hinges). Solid camphor wood. Clean and healthy interior, large usable volume. Rests on sculpted solid feet. A solid, authentic piece with real decorative charm. Ideal as a coffee table, storage bench, or occasional trunk in an entrance or living room. Slight patina due to age, visible in the photos — a testament to its authenticity. Sold as is, to be collected on site (heavy item).
