1950s wicker armchair

Large armchair made of natural-colored woven flat wicker, decorated with red and gold strands. It must date from the 1950s or even earlier. It's very beautiful, beautifully shaped, and in lovely colors. Unfortunately, it's not in very good condition. You can still sit on it (tested at 65 kg, it's fine!), but the seat is severely warped (I think due to a missing hoop underneath, and consequently to some wicker strands that have given way), and this risks gradually damaging the intact strands. It would therefore be perfect for decorating a display case or a veranda, and for holding a few stuffed animals, dolls, or the house cat. But the ideal would obviously be to entrust it to a skilled wickerworker to restore it and give it decades more life! Aside from the missing arch and the resulting warped and weakened seat, it is still structurally sound, but its age is unmistakable: broken wicker strands (mainly on the seat and a few on the backrest and armrests), some paint stains and scratches, only one of the legs still has the red strand that decorated it, and the varnish is missing from the front edge of the seat. It measures 100 cm in height, 56 cm in width, and 70 cm in depth.
