Antique painting, oil on cardboard depicting a fishing boat at the quayside with in the background a view of the hills with the Notre-Dame Fourvière basilica and the metal tower of Fourvière in Lyon. Very pretty perspective and play of light created by the painter to create this very beautiful landscape with warm colors to describe the architecture of the banks of the Rhône. It has a wooden frame called Montparnasse. Signed lower right P Meynat. Condition: the painting is in its original condition with its varnish, in very good condition considering its age with some small traces of time and a small shock the size of a pinhead and a small line in the middle at the top (see the many photos)... The frame is also in its original condition with some small wear which gives this painting all its authentic charm. Ready to be hung on the wall to decorate your interior with charm.
