This Danish sideboard from the 1960s is designed with balance in mind. The slender body, recessed wooden base, and two sleek sliding doors give the piece a calm appearance characteristic of Scandinavian design from this period. The warm teak veneer continues beautifully across the front and is framed by a refined border. The natural wood grain gives the surface vibrancy without becoming busy. Recessed round handles, made from a lighter wood, are a subtle detail that is both functional and aesthetically well-executed. Behind the smoothly sliding doors is a spacious storage area. On both sides, there is an adjustable shelf, making it easy to organise for tableware, books, audio equipment, or home accessories. Thanks to its limited depth, the piece looks airy and is also very suitable for a more compact living space or a long hallway. In our workshop, the sideboard has been carefully restored. Old finishes have been removed, the veneer has been hand-sanded, and then treated with a matte furniture oil. This brings out the warm colour of the teak while maintaining its natural look. A refined Danish design where material, proportions, and functionality come together naturally. With your purchase, you will receive maintenance instructions and furniture oil, so the wood remains in optimal condition in the future.
