Louis XVI period mahogany commode

Louis XVI commode in mahogany circa 1785. This Louis XVI period commode is made of mahogany and mahogany veneer, mounted on oak. A very elegant model with detached fluted column legs and brass guilloche scraper mounts. It opens with 3 front drawers, which are framed with fine lines of gilded brass, highlighting the purity of the design. The feet are finished with bronze sabots, and the piece is topped with its blue Turquin marble. The locks, veneer, marble, and assembly are all original. Comes with its key.
