Louis XVI Commode – Gaston Boulay 1984 – Solid Cherry

Louis XVI style commode stamped "Gaston Boulay 1984", made of solid cherry wood with a back structure in oak. It features four drawers — two small ones at the top and two large ones at the bottom — hand-assembled with dovetail joints. The drawers are framed with brass inlays and trims; the handles are bronze with neoclassical medallions featuring faces. The tapered and fluted legs, typical of the Louis XVI period, end in cylindrical brass feet. The side posts are fluted. The rectangular top with slightly rounded corners is made of polished solid cherry wood. The entire piece has been fully stripped and revarnished. Keys and locks are functional. Impeccable condition.
