An impressive set of two early model BA 1171 fiberglass chairs, designed by Helmut Bätzner for Bofinger in then West-Germany during the early 1960s. The stackable chair in sculptural design was launched at the 1966 Cologne Furniture Fair. BA 1171 was the first single-piece plastic chair suitable for mass-production. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Both pieces are in very good original condition.
