Set of 2 Drabert leather lounge chairs by Gerd Lange

A pair of drabert lounge chairs in an exceptional green leather with green seat shells. The condition of the chairs is very good, the seat shells and the leather of the seat and back cushions are in good condition with patina on the armrests and the seat cushions. The curved chrome frame is flawless on both armchairs. This model is the hard to find version with armrests. Gerd lange designed these lounge chairs in the 1970s for the german manufacturer drabert in a clear, very dynamic design. Gerd lange also designed the sm 400 chair for drabert, which is now on display in the guggenheim museum. Drabert was one of the most important office furniture manufacturers of the 60s and 70s, producing the highest quality office furniture.
