5 Gaubier Morvan multicoloured flamed glazed stoneware cups

Set of five glazed stoneware cups, attributed to the Morvan workshop, recognisable by their flame-glazed finishes with drip and crystallisation effects, in a deep palette blending greens, blues, burgundy, and blacks. Each piece features a unique decoration: thick enamel layers, variations in firing, satin and glossy areas, and visual signatures typical of the artisanal productions from Morvan in the second half of the 20th century. The interiors are particularly expressive, with pronounced fusion and material effects. The set is intentionally non-uniform, true to a workshop production. There is no stamp, but the attribution to Morvan is consistent given the shapes, clays, and characteristic glazes. This reflects the tradition of 20th-century Burgundy workshops, focusing on effect glazes and reactive firings. In good vintage condition, with slight signs of use on the base, and a small chip under the rim of the blue/green cup (see photos). Height 5 cm, diameter 9 cm, length with handle 10 cm. Strong and vibrant presence, ideal for a table where colour and material engage in a pronounced workshop ceramic spirit.
