Vintage French sauce boat, Sarreguemines, bird shaped

Gorgeous vintage french sauce boat, from sarreguemines, bird shaped, from the beginning of the 20th century. I suppose it's something in its proportions, or the elegant shape of the bird, or the evidence of the pass of the time in the different whites of the glaze, I don't know but it has me completely in love. There are a few items that have this power, and this is one of them. It is in very good condition. It measures 23 cm wide, 13.5 cm deep and 15 cm high.
