Gravy boat with eagle's head on frame Sarreguemines Utzschneider & Cie 19th century

Superb gravy boat on frame in opaque porcelain (iron earth) from Sarreguemines u&c decorated with an eagle's head characteristic of the Second Empire. Strong patina due to use and a crack on one of the edges (see photos). 16 cm high. Frame: 26.5 cm long, 14.3 cm wide. Can find its place almost anywhere in the house (trinket tray, ramekin for aperitifs or sweets, centerpiece, plant holders, etc.). ● any significant imperfection is mentioned and highlighted by the photographs but the objects we offer have experienced several lives and may present irregularities, manufacturing defects or marks which reflect their sometimes century-old experience and their history.
