Side table made by the french designer duo robert guillerme and jacques chambron in the 1960s for a french client. This table is in polished light oak and the small handle is leather editions for "your home". In perfect condition. Period: xxth. Circa: 1965. Dimensions: height: 52cm X length: 83cm X depth: 40cm. Robert guillerme had the art of making us forget that the foot of the chair is not necessarily the replica of the foot of the table. If the design of each piece of furniture is guided by its final function, that is to say, its use, it also incorporates an aesthetic research that is concretized by implicit intentions of hanging shadow and light, highlighting the natural nobility of the material, such as wood, leather, ceramics, fabrics... His creations are felt as sincere and authentic. Jacques chambron's role proved to be crucial in getting the public to accept this concept since he was able to persuade the buyer to depart from the usual clichés, to access innovation, to associate a welcoming armchair for the master of the house, with another of different line, but whose seat perfectly satisfies his wife, and to complete the set with a comfortable bench that will be reserved for guests. Fabrics of dissimilar textures and colors, abandonment of monochrome in favor of a lively and harmonious color palette, which can go as far as provocation, the style "your house" agrees, even today, with the real expectations of everyone.
