A striking chair from the legendary BAUMANN brand, which at the beginning of the last century was part of the consortium of excellence in bentwood. It comes from the headquarters of a major Parisian industrial group and complements the pair already for sale... ...except for one interesting feature: the seat has been raised 6 cm higher than the others. Is this original work. It's uncertain, but it is nonetheless superb, as evidenced by the added wooden plinth (with no difference in color) on the front of the chair. This also gives it an extra aesthetic advantage, creating a subtle "boxing." It rests on its four flared legs, which are in perfect condition, and features a superb curve in the back, topped by an absolutely captivating rounded armrest. The original upholstery, reddish-orange, is in excellent condition for its age. The metallic BAUMANN label affixed to the right side is a testament to its excellence. A few minor signs of wear, including one on the back (see photo), a slight scuff on one corner of the upholstery, and two tiny light stains on the cushion, but it is in very good condition and ready to use. Height: 81 cm. Width: 61 cm. Depth: 68 cm. Seat depth: 53 cm. The price is firm, thank you. Delivery within the Île-de-France region and the DRC for €40.
