Golden trumeau mirror for fireplace, late 19th century, with carved pediment.

Late 19th century. French work. Mercury mirror (some small stains attest to this). Magnificent pediment crowned with flowers and a ribbon in relief, typical of the period. Two small holes indicate that it is part of a set (furniture, etc.). Very beautiful patina. Some missing parts and defects (pediment frame) that do not detract from its splendour. Very heavy.
