Vase jug gargoulette

It is a porous jug that allows by evaporation to refresh the water or, more rarely, the light wine it contains. This is why it is sometimes placed in full sun, often outside in a warm place. The narrow beak allows the jet to be directed directly to the back of the throat, while generally keeping the beak away from the mouth. It came the expression "drink at the gargoulette", synonymous with "drink at the regalade". This advanced technique is sometimes difficult to teach novice adults or children, especially if the alcarazas has an imposing size.
