Rare and sculptural lamp of the "Pebbles" type, created by the publishing house François Chatain around 1980. This emblematic piece of French design from the late 20th century stands out for its architectural composition of superimposed organic shapes, evoking a stack of polished pebbles. The body of the lamp is made of glazed ceramic with an extremely glossy finish, available in a subtle range of yellow and orange tones, from bright orange to golden honey. The generous and perfectly balanced volumes give the whole a strong and elegant presence, while maintaining a visual softness characteristic of the work of the Maison Chatain. The base, both massive and harmonious, supports a slender shaft leading to a brass fitting, highlighting the refined and timeless character of the piece. A true sculptural object, this lamp asserts itself both when off and on, bringing warmth and sophistication to a contemporary or vintage interior. Dimensions: Height: 75 cm. Diameter: 35 cm. A major decorative work, ideal for enthusiasts of French design from the 1970s–1980s and collectors of iconic lighting.
