Cédric ragot for roche bobois 'radian' side table, contemporary design, orange ceramic. Produced from 2012. Perfect condition, roche bobois label inside the foot (see image). The radian ceramic side table, designed by cédric ragot, was first presented in 2012. The "radian" is an emblematic piece of cédric ragot's work, who collaborated with roche bobois from 2005 until his death in 2015. This glazed ceramic side table is distinguished by its biomorphic forms and fluid aesthetic, characteristic of ragot's style. Biography: a polymorphic designer, cédric ragot advocates a transversal vision of industrial design and creation in the broadest sense. Multiplying his speeches, he nevertheless consistently asserts his interest in an obvious reading of objects and proposes an intuitive and sensitive aesthetic. His studio works for prestigious clients on the design of new products but also on anticipation projects for which he supports brands in their reflection and positioning. Several of his creations have been awarded: a good design award in 2007 for the fast vase with rosenthal; a wallpaper* design award in 2008 for the majordome pedestal tables with roche bobois, a reddot design award in 2009 for the lacie flat cables and a reddot design award in 2012 for the 3mix 5000 mixer, an emblematic product of the krups brand. In 2014, he received a best design fifi awards for the design of the invictus perfume bottle by paco rabanne. Moreover, some of his creations are part of the collection of the fonds national d'art contemporain and are exhibited in paris, hanover, vienna, new york, milan. Roche bobois (founded in paris in 1960) is today one of the world leaders in high-end designer furniture. Born from the union between the roche and chouchan (bobois) families, the brand embodies a french art of living, bold, creative, refined.
