The Plastic Armchairs designed by Charles and Ray Eames in the 1950s were presented for the first time in the "Low Cost Furniture Design" competition organized by the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The Eames Plastic DAW (Din armchairig Wooden base) has an organic hull that was originally made of fiberglass. Reissued by Vitra with a polypropylene hull, it always offers great comfort at an affordable price. The base consists of four feet of tinted maple and lasked with steel tube braces. It's a small chair that's perfect for extended meals.
