Chinese Ceramics Gu Vase Ming Dynasty, mid 1600s

Chinese ceramic Gu vase from the Ming Dynasty, originating from the 17th century. Beautiful square stoneware vase with relief decoration around the base of four scholarly objects, while the upper part shows four different flowers consisting of the plum tree, chrysanthemum, lotus, and peony. Glazed with a turquoise colour with craquelure, some loss of glaze and chipping at the edges. On the bottom, the Chinese character sign of Yuan.
